Inspection robot for power plantsMy first patent was an inspection robot developed at the robotics research lab (GRVC) at University of Seville.
Mechanisms for aeronautical industryDuring my time working for FACC I developed several small inventions related to mechanical designs. As I left the company, I do not have access to information about which ones they finally patented. At my recommendation letter there is a list of concepts and designs that I developed for them.
Methods and algorithms for wearablesMy experience working in Tokyo was amazing, and I worked very hard in a field of engineering that was new for me: sensors, user interface, human-machine interaction. As a result, I created many interesting algorithms and methods of interaction, five of which are in process of being patented.
1st patent (public document).
2nd-5th patents (in process, details at the ackowledge letter above).
Snake arm for inspectionIt is a fresh conceptual design for flexible snake arms like the ones used currently for inspection (or the Tesla charger, for example). According to my first calculations, it will duplicate the flexibility and the weight/force of any current design, apart of having additional advantages. This project can be developed for commercial use in less than one year.
Human friendly joints for service robotsIt is a simple improvement that can be implemented in most of the current humanoid robots or joints in general. It has several advantages, including that it is easy to clean, can be made water proof and it is safe for use in contact with humans and animals. It is a very simple concept that can be developed in much less than one year.
Deployment toolIt is a long term project. It might take 3~10 years of development and there will be many variations for different sizes, industries and requirements (like space, rescue, mining, construction, fire extinguision, military and police, house automation, etc.).
It has a great potential; I would not be surprised if in ten years it is as popular for robotics and automation industries as drones are now.
Small designsI enjoy creating conceptual designs and during my daily life many ideas come to my mind, including some ideas for foldable bikes, exercise machines, transforming furniture, toys...
I am busy with the robotic projects mentioned above, but I would enjoy developing also these small designs as a hobby. Hopefully I find a company interested in developing some of them.
